Raw bars have sprung up all over the place in the last few years (move over sushi!), and scores of Italian, French, Mexican, Spanish, Tapas, American, etc. restaurants have added oysters to their menus. There’s certainly no dearth of incredible seafood in New York. But what’s easy on the palette isn’t necessarily so on the wallet. One can go broke sampling all the mollusks on the market these days.
